Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) added 0.1% or 6.88 points to 6,947.36 points at Wednesday’s close.
Traded value increased to SAR 3.73 billion ($994 million) on Wednesday compared to SAR 3.72 billion ($992 million) on Tuesday.
Traded volume went up to 313.8 million shares, up from 260.7 million shares.
The telecom sector led the green zone and rose 0.34%, while the banks sector slightly added 0.05%.
On the other hand, the material sector shed 0.11%, while the retailing sector lost 1.31%.
Wafa Insurance topped the best performers and hiked 9.73% to SAR 14.55, while Saudi Ceramics led the worst performers and retreated 3.17% to SAR 27.50.
Dar Al Arkan was the most active in terms of traded volume and value trading 186 million shares at a value of SAR 1.2 billion. The stock levelled up 3.85% to SAR 6.75.
Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market gained 1.32% to stand at 4,304.48 points.
Traded volume fell to 86,500 shares, while values rose to SAR 1.9 million on Wednesday.
Development Works Food fell solely 0.43% to SAR 50.78.
Al-Omran Industrial Trading recorded the highest rises of 3.08% to reach SAR 26.80, followed by Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries which increased 2.83% to SAR 81.50.
